WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE DESIGN PROCESS
Elevating the art of outdoor living design and installation since 2003
During your initial visit with a PaverStone Design Group design consultant we will discuss your general objectives. For example, are you interested in simply enhancing the look of a particular area? Is your goal to create privacy, an area for entertaining, a specific feature such as a water feature, or a complete outdoor kitchen featuring many elements? We will ask questions, take notes, and make suggestions. We will also discuss timing and budget considerations. We can design an outdoor living space to suit almost any budget, from basic necessities to resort-level environments, and we can install them all at once or in phases over several seasons. Working through our design questionnaire will help you to organize much of the information we'll need prior to this initial meeting.

Next we'll review some of our past projects to show how we might have addressed similar situations and to give you a sense of the design results you can expect.

Once you do decide to work with PaverStone Design Group we will request a Design Retainer in order to begin the development of drawings. Retainers typically range between $100 and $800 (basic paver patio’s and drive ways are not subject to this fee) depending on the size and scope of the project, and this amount will be credited toward the installation of your design. We will also ask for any site information (you have available including house blueprints and/or plot plans. We'll then provide you with an approximate schedule for (completion of drawings and the design process will begin. The finished design will be drawn to scale and will specify details as the materials for features such as walks, patios, decks and fencing. The design will be presented for your approval along with a detailed (installation proposal and a tentative construction schedule.

Expect frequent contact with your designer and project foreman, who will keep you informed on the progress of all phases of design and construction. When your project is complete we will provide you with a warranty and detailed instructions on the care of your new outdoor living space. And, because we value your feedback on all aspects of our services, we will be checking in with you periodically after your project is complete to make sure that everything is performing to your highest expectations. All of this is part of our commitment to guarantee your 100% satisfaction!
